what you'll be doing We are looking for our next OPEX & Payroll Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and own some of our key areas of expenditure, namely our payroll and overheads. What you'd be doing in this role: Be the finance contact for our People, Culture and IT teams. Build and maintain strong relationships and influence key stakeholders across all levels. Partner closely with the financial operations and commercial finance teams. Drive the rhythm of planning, forecasting and reporting, delivering insights and value-added analysis to inform business decisions. Leading the annual budgeting process for your cost areas. Presenting complex information in an accessible and meaningful way to focus and drive improvements in financial performance. Holding the tension with teams on deliverables. Finally, you'll want to leave things better than you find them by identifying opportunities for process improvements and support or manage the implementation of any changes. you'll have A growth mindset - always thinking how we can do what we do better. A good grasp of accounting principles like accruals, prepayments and controls. The ability to convey financial information concisely and accurately to non-finance people. Strong Excel (and ideally Power BI) skills and experience in managing budgets and data. Business partnering experience and relationship building skills. you'll get Owning the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for some of our key cost areas. Building relationships with senior leaders and work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders. Influence short and long term business decisions. Continuously seek to improve our processes and find efficiencies. Exposure to the wider business and plenty of stretch opportunities.
