Finance Business Process Analyst

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is looking to add to their Finance Strategic Initiatives team with an opportunity for a Finance Business Process Analyst. This position is responsible for supporting mid and senior level Business Analysts in analyzing, designing, and optimizing financial business processes and systems. Responsibilities Document current processes and workflows, creating detailed process maps and reports Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools Assist in developing training materials and providing user support for financial systems and processes Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements Maintain accurate documentation of processes, system configurations, and changes Support tracking and reporting of lean and transformation projects Maintain and support periodic reviews of the Finance Department business unit recovery and continuity program Support tracking and maintenance of the Finance Department policies and procedures within the document management system (PolicyTech) Coordinate meetings related to transformation initiatives, ensuring schedules are aligned and objectives are met Skills Bachelor's degree in management information systems, finance, business administration or related field FBP I: 0-2 years of relevant work experience in business process analysis or system implementation FBP II: 3-5 years of relevant work experience in business process analysis or system implementation Basic to Proficient knowledge of ERP systems (Workday, Adaptive Planning or similar) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Detail-orientated and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks Project management experience required, PMP certification a plus Benefits Incentive pay program (EPIP) Health/Vision/Dental insurance 6 weeks paid parental leave for new mothers and fathers Fertility/Adoption assistance 2 weeks paid caregiver leave 5% 401(k) plan matching Tuition reimbursement Health & fitness benefits, discounts and resources Company Overview Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is a mutual insurance company provides Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Life Insurance.
