About the position The Finance Manager, Capital Management at Providence plays a crucial role in supporting local ministry/entity leadership teams by managing capital projects for Swedish hospitals within the Providence Swedish system. This position ensures that capital projects are properly documented and processed through the ERP system in a timely manner. The Finance Manager collaborates with purchasing and operations leaders to negotiate favorable rates and works with finance leaders to secure necessary approvals. Additionally, the role involves reporting on capital expenditures, analyzing projected cash flow, and partnering with the CFO of Operations to enhance capital processes and efficiency. Responsibilities • Serve as the capital administrator for Swedish hospitals within the Providence Swedish system. , • Ensure capital projects have correct documentation and are processed through the ERP in a timely manner. , • Negotiate best-in-class rates with purchasing and operations leaders. , • Collaborate with finance leaders to ensure appropriate approvals are completed. , • Report on capital spend and perform analysis on projected cash flow. , • Partner with the CFO of Operations on capital process and efficiency. , • Develop financial plans and budgets, and support month-end review of financial statements.
