These are the ideas at the core of Airbnb:• Our community is based on connection and belonging.• Our creativity allows us to imagine new possibilities for people.• Our responsibility is to all of our stakeholders.• It takes a unified team committed to our core values to embody these ideas, and our fast-moving team is committed to leading as a 21st century company.The Location: Fully Remote in the US• Analyze CS operations / metrics and Guest / Host behaviors in order to estimate the financial impact of proposed initiatives and influence business outcomes.• Work closely with Community Support (CS) Platform business partners to develop budget, synthesize data, report out progress and provide insights• Perform forecast, month-end close activities including actuals vs forecast analysis. Update financial models as appropriate.• Support senior members of the team with reconciliations, commentary and pulling ad hoc queries• Help automate and find areas of efficiency within core processes• Identify and size key opportunities to drive business impact through quantitative analysis (i.e. ROI analysis); create investment cases for new initiatives and help leadership prioritize resourcing.Requirements:• 6-8+ years experience in financial analysis• Advanced modeling skills• Solid experience with planning and budgeting processes, financial forecasting, P&L management, interpreting and reporting business performance results• Familiarity with SQL and data visualization software (Tableau) is a plus• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment• High aptitude and ability to operate in ambiguous environmentsEducation:• B.A. or B.S. in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
