Financial Analyst – Clean Up & Build Reporting Dashboards One-time project with potential for ongoing support Remote | Flexible Hours | Start ASAP Are you a financial pro who thrives on turning messy data into clean, actionable insight? We're a small but growing business looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to help us clean up our historical data and build sleek, dynamic dashboards in Google Sheets. This project is perfect for someone who’s worked with small businesses, startups, or entrepreneurs and enjoys diving deep into numbers, creating structure, and building tools that drive smarter decisions. What You’ll Tackle: Reconcile transactions across QuickBooks, Rocket Money, Excel, and our Madison (payroll back office company) payroll portal Organize and clean up up to 5 years of financial data Build Google Doc dashboards to track income, expenses, and year-over-year trends Create easy-to-update monthly and quarterly reports Flag discrepancies and ensure data integrity throughout Provide insights or recommendations if anything major jumps out Tools You’ll Work With: QuickBooks (accounts are already connected) Rocket Money (for expense tracking) Madison (our payroll processing portal) Manual Google Sheets tracking files What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of finance, accounting, or bookkeeping experience Experience with staffing/recruitment firms or service-based businesses Strong Google Sheets skills (dashboards, pivot tables, formulas, charts) Experience with QuickBooks and personal finance tools Sharp eye for detail and love for organized, clean data Bonus: Experience supporting entrepreneurs or small business operations Budget & Timeline: This is a one-time project for now - but if it’s a great fit, we could potentially explore monthly ongoing support.
