Financial Analyst - ONSITE

POSITION SUMMARY The Financial Analyst II (Advanced) will provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and other decision support services to leadership. The successful Analyst will be analytical, with strong communication skills and business judgment. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and other decision support services to the business. • Create financial models that accurately predict the financial and operational results of the business under various circumstances. • Create detailed capacity models for key functions within the business. • Track and report on relevant key metrics specific to the business. • Manage business relationships and cultivate an environment of mutual trust and integrity - become the key financial representative for the assigned section of the business. • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations for executive leadership, the board of directors and other external parties. • Perform other ad hoc analysis as needed. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required • 2-4 years of experience in similar role • MBA, CPA or CFA preferred • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word required • Prior experience with Hyperion Essbase (or another similar product) a plus • SQL, VBA or Access skills are not required, but are a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Additional Information While this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position’s requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
