Financial Analyst (Private Markets – Security Industry) – Active PitchBook License Required

About the Role: Salient Systems is seeking an experienced financial analyst to support corporate strategy and market research initiatives focused on the private financial markets within the security and surveillance technology sector. We are interested in a part-time contractor with a background in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development who has active, verifiable access to PitchBook. The role involves extracting and analyzing transaction data to build a clear view of investment and acquisition trends shaping our industry. Scope of Work: •Research and compile M&A and private financing transactions (2018–present) in: o Video Management System (VMS) Platforms o Access Control Platforms o Other adjacent manufactured products for physical security • Deliver structured datasets including: o Enterprise Value, Revenue, EBITDA, valuation multiples, deal size, acquirer, target, and rationale. • Produce a concise analytical memo summarizing: o Data methodology and inclusion/exclusion logic o Key valuation trends and market themes o Notable financial and strategic acquirers o Relevant sources and confidence levels Apply tot his job
