What To Expect (Job Responsibilities) As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for: Tracking and Reviewing Contract Deliverable Invoices: You will track, review, and process monthly contract deliverable invoices, ensuring accurate expenditure reporting. Assisting with Fiscal Activities: You will assist with fiscal activities related to grant-funded programs, including creating annual state plans and federal reports. Conducting Research and Generating Financial Reports: You will conduct research and generate financial reports as required, utilizing software like Microsoft Suite and CAPPS Financials. Processing Annual Encumbrances and Procuring Funds: You will process annual encumbrances and procure funds for contract budgets each fiscal year. Participating in Workgroups and Projects: You will actively participate in workgroups and projects affecting existing and developing contracts. What Is Required (Qualifications) To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Relevant Experience: Experience in budget, finance, accounting, and/or contracts. Knowledge of Laws and Regulations: Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to program areas. Advanced Skills in Financial Applications: Advanced skills in using Excel and other financial applications. Independence and Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
