Reedsy's vetted group of freelancers has worked with bestselling authors like Stephen King, Suzane Collins (The Hunger Games), E.L. James (Fifty Shades of Grey), or James Clear (Atomic Habits). As a Reedsy editor, you will work 1-on-1 with talented authors in the genres of your interest (fiction and nonfiction), helping them along in their path to publishing their stories. You will select the projects you want to work on and determine your own rates and availability. Our selection requirements are: 3+ years of editing experience. We are looking for editors with expertise in any of these services: editorial assessment, developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, query letter review, and book coaching. Experience working with recognized publishers in your niche. A portfolio with at least 5 published books that are well-reviewed. Experience working for a renowned publishing company or a history of high-quality work with a bestselling author/book will be positively valued.
