As we expand deeper into CGI and virtual production, we’re seeking a Freelance CGI Producer (Remote/Telecommute) to help manage high-end projects and ensure seamless execution for top-tier brands. Position Summary As a Freelance CGI Producer, you will oversee the production of still and motion assets created through CGI workflows. This is a fully remote/telecommute position, collaborating with creative directors, CGI artists, post-production vendors, and clients across time zones. The role is ideal for a producer with experience in CGI/VFX pipelines who thrives at the intersection of creativity and technology. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination • Manage timelines, deliverables, and production workflows for CGI projects • Collaborate with creative and technical teams to translate briefs into executable production plans Pipeline & Workflow Management • Coordinate between modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing teams • Anticipate technical needs and flag potential bottlenecks early Client & Team Liaison • Act as a remote production contact for clients, ensuring expectations align with technical and creative possibilities • Facilitate communication between internal creative leads and CGI vendors/artists Budget & Tracking • Track project expenses, day rates, and asset counts • Support efficient allocation of resources while staying within budget and scope Quality Control • Ensure all deliverables meet luxury brand standards for realism, polish, and consistency • Oversee feedback rounds and revisions on still and motion assets Research & Trends • Stay updated on emerging CGI tools, rendering engines, and workflows • Proactively recommend innovations to keep Slate’s CGI work at the forefront Requirements Experience • 2–4 years in CGI, VFX, or post-production coordination/production • Familiarity with CGI pipelines and workflows required (modeling → rendering → compositing) Skills • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication • Familiarity with project management tools and Google Workspace • Ability to adapt quickly in evolving technical/creative environments Personal Attributes • Detail-oriented with a high bar for quality • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-driven • Comfortable bridging creative and technical conversations Bonus Qualifications • Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Unreal, Houdini, Cinema4D, Redshift, or Blender • Experience with virtual production or AI-assisted CGI pipelines • Background managing remote creative teams or render pipelines Compensation • Project-Based: Competitive compensation per project, based on experience and scope Benefits • Fully remote / telecommute with flexible freelance scheduling • Collaborate on high-profile CGI campaigns for luxury brands • Potential for long-term collaborations with Slate’s creative and technical teams How to Apply To apply, please submit: • Your resume • A short cover letter explaining your interest in CGI production • Portfolio or project samples relevant to CGI/VFX work Apply tot his job
