The ideal candidate is passionate about math education and committed to fostering a supportive and rigorous learning environment. This teacher will work closely with school staff to deliver effective instruction that inspires student growth and confidence in mathematics. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement engaging, standards-based math lessons • Use data-driven instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners • Provide instruction in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, or other levels as assigned • Integrate technology and real-world applications to enhance student understanding • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior • Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues to support student success • Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, collaboration, and a growth mindset Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field • Valid Louisiana teaching certificate with a Math endorsement or eligibility to obtain one • Prior experience teaching math in a K–12 setting preferred • Strong instructional and classroom management skills • Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
