About the position SS&C is a leading financial services and healthcare technology company headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut, with over 27,000 employees across 35 countries. The Fund Accountant - Launch Program is designed to transition recent college graduates into their professional careers, providing them with a cross-functional understanding of the organization and a strong skills foundation. The program includes a mandatory 4-week immersive training period in Boston, MA from June 2 - June 27, 2025, after which participants will be placed in a hybrid role in the Los Angeles office. The program aims to expose high-potential graduates to various aspects of the financial services business, preparing them for future leadership roles. Participants will engage in project-based assignments, rotate through key functional areas, and partake in professional development activities. Responsibilities • Gain exposure to accounting, valuations, and investor services within SS&C's Hedge Fund Services and Private Markets groups. • Apply accounting principles to complex transactions and financial reporting. • Participate in transaction processing and pricing of complex securities. • Contribute to real business challenges through project-based assignments. • Engage in professional development activities and networking opportunities. Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience (recent graduate May 2024 to May 2025). • Strong client service skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Commitment to timely, accurate production of client deliverables. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail. • Strong academic foundation in financial accounting.
