The FX Production and Special Projects group is an integral part of the company, responsible for creating on-air promotions, editorial campaigns, and special projects for marketing and other departments. Job Overview We're seeking an innovative and driven FX Production & Special Projects Intern to join our team for the Spring 2025 semester. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from admin tasks to production assistance, and even contribute to the department newsletter. You'll be reporting directly to the Manager of Multiplatform Creative and Production at FX, and you'll be an integral part of our team. Key Responsibilities Assist and support the FX Production and Special Projects team with various tasks, including admin needs, shoot prep, research, and post organization. Help with the creation and distribution of the department newsletter. Provide support for local shoots for Print, Social, and On-Air Promotions, potentially serving as a Production Assistant. Utilize your knowledge of current FX TV shows to contribute to the development of promotional materials and campaigns. Develop and maintain organized systems for tracking and managing projects. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless project execution. Essential Qualifications & Skills To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following requirements: Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program, OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship. Previous experience in production and post-production. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Passion and knowledge of current FX TV shows. At least 18 years of age. Possess unrestricted work authorization. Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences will make you a more competitive candidate: Experience working on promotional campaigns or special projects. Familiarity with production software and equipment. Strong research and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
