Description Reporting directly to the Manager, Finance Shared Services Accounting, the GL Accountant is responsible for general ledger accounting including collecting, recording, reviewing, reconciling and analyzing financial data necessary to prepare journal entries. Has responsibility for helping to ensure system-wide BHSF compliance with policies and procedures. Communicates effectively with various departments on financial and accounting issues. Apply critical thinking skills to develop enhanced accounting methodologies using technologies. Estimated salary range for this position is $55137.29 - $71678.48 / year depending on experience. Qualifications Degrees: • Bachelors. Additional Qualifications • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance related field. • 3+ years of experience in a similar setting. • Must have excellent analytical skills, be a self starter, detail oriented and capable of working independently in a fast paced environment. • Attention to detail and good technology skills required particularly expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup functions. • Knowledge of PeopleSoft GL software desired. • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff in a professional manner.
