Join J.S. Held as a summer intern in Global Investigations - Forensic Accounting and Dispute Resolution, gaining hands-on experience in complex accounting litigation cases.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
• Participate in expert witness and complex accounting litigation cases including insurance insolvency, accountant malpractice, fraud and embezzlement, and director and officer liability.
• Assist with document review and transaction analysis to provide summary analysis as part of a team.
• Review legal evidence during the document discovery process.
• Research accounting and auditing guidance, including upcoming and proposed rules.
• Assist in writing filings to be submitted to the court.
• Analyze and prepare economic damages and lost profit calculations.
• Prepare written reports and narratives for clients.
• Consult with counsel to provide insight during depositions and trial.
About You
The company is looking for:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Interest in forensic accounting and preparing to become a CPA.
• Accounting majors preparing to become CPAs preferred; finance majors planning to become CPA eligible will also be considered.
• Team-oriented and enjoys being challenged.
Compensation & Benefits
