The Global Procurement Specialist indirect Sourcing is an impactful position that will support the development and execution of global sourcing plans utilizing and leveraging data analytics and process improvements. This position serves a key strategic role at Haemonetics, providing overall process and analytics support to the Global Category Management Team with the Categories of Professional Services, HR, Technology and CAPEX/MRO/Facilities. The Global Procurement Specialist is part of the Global Procurement team, under the Supply Chain and Sourcing organization, and is a critical role within the team responsible for developing and implementing solutions that support the strategic plans and goals of the corporation.Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for providing data analysis and insights that deliver value to the business by improving quality, mitigating supply risks, reducing total costs, and focusing on continuous improvement. The role is responsible for performing complex data analysis for analyzing global spending, as well as working with suppliers on risk mitigation strategies that facilitate assurance of supply and provide the company with a competitive advantage.The Global Procurement Specialist assists team members in developing and implementing sourcing strategies and tactics to effectively manage the supplier base in order to maximize supplier performance (cost, quality, lead time), to support the company achieve its goals. The primary purpose of this position is to maximize the value and minimize the risk associated with sourcing strategies, contracts and procurement-related activities. This position will work with a wide variety of suppliers and business partners which provides great opportunities to learn and expand. This role may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities, as reasonably required by business needs.

Education

Bachelor's Degree - Required

Experience

4+ years: Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement. - Required

Skills

Training/Certifications

Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Procure-to-Pay concepts preferred - Preferred

Physical Demands

☑ Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
