This unique position blends technical expertise with business development, focusing on advancing Deloitte’s Google Cloud proposition tailored to Defence needs. Essential Skills and Experience Senior Manager or Associate Director level experience, with a strong background in UK Defence. Security cleared to SC level; DV clearance is a strong advantage. Cloud and infrastructure savvy; Google Cloud experience is beneficial but not essential if Defence experience and clearance are strong. Proven ability to operate in a business development capacity, bridging technical knowledge with commercial objectives. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable working in a remote and flexible environment. Key Responsibilities Leverage your detailed understanding of the Defence environment, ideally with prior experience in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) or UK Defence sector. Collaborate closely with Deloitte’s commercial and technical teams to shape and drive the Google Cloud business development strategy within Defence. Provide technical insight and guidance on cloud and infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with Defence security and operational requirements. Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities and support proposal development for Google Cloud services in Defence contexts. Maintain and apply security clearance standards (SC mandatory; Developed Vetting (DV) is advantageous) to operate effectively within sensitive environments. Work flexibly and remotely, with the option to contribute on a part-time basis (e.g., 3 days per week), adapting to client and project needs.
