Job Title: Graphic Designer FLSA: Exempt Employee Type: Full Time Reports To: Marketing Manager Location: Remote Job Overview: The Graphic Designer will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. The Graphic Designer will use their creative abilities and a deep understanding of our customer’s interest and how to grab the attention of outdoor and archery enthusiasts. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: · Collaborates with internal FeraDyne partners such as general managers, engineers, supply chain and marketing teams to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message. Additional collaboration with external partners is used to support marketing needs. · Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to appropriate staff or departments for review and feedback. • Designs art and copy layouts for materials such as illustrations, publications, graphs, charts, brochures, certificates, flyers, posters, and slide presentations to be presented by visual media. • Creates print ads and packaging layouts for hundreds of SKUs across various brands. · Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process with other marketing team members and internal and external clients. · Assists in quality control by proofing final artwork before submission. • Works with others in marketing to integrate copy and graphics most effectively. • Determines size, arrangement, type style and size of illustrations and copy. • Arranges layout according to space availability and using knowledge of layout principles and design concepts. • Studies illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services. • Creates samples of finished layout and presents for approval. • Effectively meets production schedules and deadlines for design projects. • Uses project management skills and tools to prioritize and organize creative project needs from multiple directions within the organization. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: · Highly creative individual · Prior experience with print ads, layouts, packaging packets, website management, and DPI. · In-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Figma, Canva, or equivalent programs, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. · 3 years’ previous professional experience in graphic design · Previous experience in hunting and outdoor industry
