Modo Energy is a data platform central to the energy transition, providing benchmarking and forecasting tools for energy investors and developers. The Growth Associate will work with the Head of Product Marketing to enhance user engagement and drive growth through various marketing campaigns and content creation.
Responsibilities
- Own content creation across formats - short videos, email campaigns, social posts, and product demos that help the right people understand what Modo builds
- Run go-to-market campaigns when new products or markets launch, from brief to live
- Diagnose drop-off in the signup and activation funnel and run experiments to fix it
- Drive adoption of new features through targeted, creative outreach to existing users
- Track and report on what's working - weekly, with clear metrics and a point of view on what to do next
- Build lightweight automations and workflows to remove manual work from the growth loop
Skills
- You've shipped something independently — a project, a campaign, a newsletter, anything you took from idea to live
- Strong writing — clear, direct, and aimed at the right person
- Taste and judgement — you know good from bad and you'll say so
- You use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) as a core part of how you work — for research, writing, automations, and ideas. This isn't optional
- Curious and resourceful — you figure things out without being told how
- Comfortable with design or video tools — Figma, CapCut, Premiere, Canva, or similar
- An engineering or analytical mindset — you think in systems and would rather automate something than do it manually twice
- Some experience with growth or marketing campaigns
- An interest in energy, climate, or the transition to clean power
- Degree in an analytical field — economics, engineering, maths, physics, or similar (we care more about how you think than what you studied)
