Head of Finance | Series A | Climate Tech | $200k

We’re partnering with a venture‑backed, rapidly scaling impact firm that is transforming the workplace! Following a Series A, they have been in scale-up mode, yet maintaining a scrappy mindset and with strong backers, there are no plans to slow down! With recent growth and fresh capital, they’re now looking for their first Head of Finance: a hands‑on, commercially minded leader to build and own the finance function as the business scales to the next stage. What you’ll do • Build and lead: Define and establish the finance strategy, tools, and processes from scratch — reporting directly to the founders. • Strategic finance & FP&A: Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and profitability analysis; bring visibility to unit economics and key business levers. • Fundraising support: Partner closely with founders on upcoming equity rounds (Series B+) and structure debt facilities (asset‑backed and venture debt). • Accounting & compliance: Manage bookkeeping, taxes and ensure robust, scalable processes (with external partners where needed). • Partner across the business: Work cross‑functionally to provide insights that drive product, ops and commercial strategy. About you • Proven experience in finance at a high‑growth start‑up or scale‑up. • Strong background in FP&A, unit economics and cash management. • Exposure to debt structuring and equity fundraising is a plus. • Prior investment banking, VC or PE experience welcomed but not essential. • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and building systems from scratch.
