$200k - $210k + bonus
Talentedge are delighted to be partnering with a globally operational & category-defining, hyper-growth FinTech scaleup on their #1 in tax position.
As the International Head of Tax you will lead the entire tax function, responsible for strategy / planning, reporting, advisory and compliance.
Key responsibilities to include:
• Own the company’s tax strategy in its’ entirety
• Ensure that all entities meet their compliance requirements and obligations for federal, state and local tax filings
• Lead tax provisioning, ensuring US GAAP compliance
• Own tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence from tax authorities
• Provide advisory support on potential projects which may include corporate restructuring or transactions
• Continually seek opportunities to automate manual processes (using tax-specific automation tools) as well as reduce the reliance on outsourced partners
• Business partner closely with Product and Engineering, Finance & Legal functions to provide tax-specific guidance on commercial initiatives which may include new product launches, geographical expansion and updates within global tax legislations
• Own relationships with local and international local advisors
Profile:
• CPA / MS Taxation
• Experience within a hyper-growth environment (preferably FinTech however this is non-essential)
• Energetic self-starter who is able to work autonomously. Happy rolling your sleeves up & getting your hands dirty
• Confident and established business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence internal and external stakeholders
• Strong background in tax advisory, reporting and compliance (ASC 740)
• Highly experienced with US Federal, state and local tax requirements
• Significant experience with automation tools and technologies
