Job Description: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Math Teacher to join our team. As a Math Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in grades 9-12, helping them develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive math lessons that align with the school's curriculum and standards Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the individual needs and learning styles of students Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents Use technology to enhance learning and keep students engaged Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies Participate in school events and extracurricular activities, such as math clubs and competitions Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in math education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field - Teaching certification or license Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching high school math Strong knowledge of math concepts and ability to teach a variety of courses, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment Experience with using technology in the classroom Familiarity with international curricula and standards is a plus Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage Originally posted on Himalayas
