High-End Motion Graphics Package and Brand System for YouTube & Social Media
We’re hiring a top-tier motion graphics designer to build a complete, scalable package of motion assets for an modern investment banking brand. This is not a beginner project. We are intentionally looking for someone operating in the top ~1% of motion designers: someone who understands pacing, typography, brand systems, and how to build templates that are both beautiful and operationally practical.
If you specialize in slick Instagram reels but can’t think in systems, this probably isn’t for you. If you’ve built broadcast-quality packages or high-end brand systems and you obsess over polish, keep reading.
The Goal
We want to create a cohesive motion design system that our in-house editors can reuse at scale across YouTube and social. The deliverables should feel premium, modern, and dynamic - visually interesting without relying on stock footage. The emphasis is on motion design, typography, rhythm, and branded visual elements.
We will provide full brand guidelines, fonts, logos, and graphic assets. Your job is to bring them to life and build templates that are flexible and idiot-proof for our internal team to use repeatedly.
Speed matters. Quality matters more. We need both.
Timeline Expectations
This project is extremely time-bound.
We are aiming to have **Phase 1 delivered within ~48 hours of contract acceptance** (or as close as humanly possible). That first delivery should include the core master templates and hero assets. The full package will follow immediately after.
If tight deadlines stress you out, this is not a good fit. If you thrive under pressure and can execute cleanly and quickly, we want you.
Deliverables Overview
1. Motion Logo Stinger (Primary Brand Hit)
A short, high-impact brand animation used after hooks in social videos.
• *Requirements:**
• Length: less than 3 seconds
• Clean, punchy, and memorable
• Dynamic motion that feels intentional, not gimmicky
• Uses brand colors and icon mark (icon preferred over wordmark where possible)
• Incorporates branded visual elements (topographical textures and/or orbit motifs)
• Works seamlessly across all aspect ratios
• Must feel above industry standard for TikTok / Instagram brand hits
Deliver both editable template and exported video files.
2. Intro Plate
A short animated intro for YouTube and long-form content.
• Elegant motion typography
• Clear brand presence without feeling heavy
• Designed to lead smoothly into content
• Multiple duration variations (short + extended)
3. Tail Slate / End Card
An animated outro with built-in CTAs.
• Flexible layout for multiple CTA configurations
• Clean motion loop options
• Designed for retention, not distraction
4. Lower Third System
A modular lower third package including:
• Name/title variations
• Listing highlight callouts
• Data/stat overlays
• Flexible typography templates
• Motion that is subtle but premium
These should be designed as a cohesive system, not one-off pieces.
5. Listing Announcement Templates
Templates for announcing new business listings.
Each template should support:
• Business type/category
• Key executive summary metrics
• Headline text hierarchy
• Clean, repeatable layout system
• Motion that adds energy without clutter
6. Closed Deal Announcement Templates
Templates for announcing completed transactions.
Supports dynamic fields such as:
• Industry/category
• Revenue range
• Deal multiple
• Headline messaging
Design should feel celebratory but professional.
7. Subtitle Styling System (Secondary Priority)
A flexible subtitle style package that:
• Enhances readability
• Feels integrated with the brand
• Works across vertical and horizontal formats
Platform Scaling Requirements
Every asset must scale cleanly to the standard platform formats:
• 16:9 (YouTube / widescreen)
• 9:16 (TikTok / Reels / Shorts)
• 1:1 (Square social)
• 4:5 (Instagram feed)
Templates should be designed with responsive logic so content adapts without breaking composition.
Technical Requirements
• Primary working format: Adobe After Effects (preferred) or Premiere
• Organized, labeled project files
• Editable master templates for internal reuse
• Clear structure and naming conventions
• Exported versions of all finished assets
• Built with scalability and repeatability in mind
Think like you’re building a toolkit, not a one-off animation.
Visual Direction
We’re aiming for modern, high-end motion design that relies on:
• Typography
• Geometric motion
• Brand color interplay
• Topographical textures
• Orbiting motion motifs
Avoid heavy stock footage. This is a motion graphics system, not a montage.
We want clean, confident design with strong pacing. Nothing flashy for the sake of flash.
