Role Description
Responsible for identifying, analyzing and rectifying inaccuracies with billing and reimbursement specific to Third Party Payors that contract with Froedtert Hospital.
• Documents trends and disseminates information to department heads, medical staff, and contracting staff
• Goals of sending out compliant, accurate bills
• Maximizing hospital reimbursement per the terms of the agreements
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a practicing nurse in a healthcare institution
• Experience dealing with third party payers
• Experience in a healthcare institution auditing third party reimbursement
• Knowledge of current Federal, State, and Local billing and coding regulations
Requirements
• Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
