Role Snapshot: Location: Remote Compensation: a competitive salary Company: Personal Finance Book For Teens Start Date: Immediate openings available Position: Content Editor And Proofreader   I am seeking an experienced content editor and proofreader to help refine my book titled Money Skills for Teens Made Simple: Easy Steps to Master How to Budget, Save, and Invest to Build Wealth and Avoid Debt (What They Don’t Teach in School). This book is written for a teenage audience and aims to simplify personal finance concepts to make them engaging, relatable, and easy to understand. The manuscript is approximately 27300 words, and I am looking for a professional who can: Polish the language to ensure it’s clear, concise, and suitable for teenagers aged 13–19. Improve the flow, tone, and readability without losing the essence of the content. Identify and correct grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors. Suggest improvements to the structure, format, and layout to enhance the overall impact. Ensure consistency in style and terminology throughout the book. Requirements: Proven experience in editing and proofreading non-fiction, preferably personal finance or educational books. A strong understanding of how to write for a teenage audience. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the author's voice. Ability to provide constructive feedback and suggest meaningful improvements. Familiarity with personal finance topics is a plus. Deliverables: A fully edited and proofread manuscript ready for publishing. A brief editorial report outlining major changes or suggestions for improvement. Project Timeline: I am looking to complete this project within 1-3 weeks (within 2 weeks is preferred).
