Your role will be pivotal in helping our partners deliver unparalleled patient care. • Recruit top talent based on a strong understanding of business objectives and hiring needs. • Manage the full-cycle DVM recruitment process for assigned regions. • Identify effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, with an emphasis on veterinarian openings. • This is a full-time remote role with a significant travel requirement (~50-55%). Qualifications • At least 3 years of full cycle recruiting experience. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. • Experience in the veterinary industry, whether clinical or industry-facing, is highly desired. • High degree of creativity, short and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization. • Negotiation, marketing, or sales experience a plus. • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Requirements • Manages the full DVM recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, on-site visit management, interviewing, drafting offers, negotiating offers, and managing feedback activities. • Regularly communicates with partnering Regional Directors on hiring needs, active candidate status, and candidate pipelines. • Ensures the applicant tracking system accurately reflects job opening updates and candidate status. • Maintains consistent data in the CRM, capturing comprehensive information regarding candidate experiences, desires, and needs. • Partners with the Director, DVM Recruiting and operations leadership to identify and prioritize recruitment needs and strategies. • Develops and refines a candidate pipeline through relationships with veterinary schools, programs, associations, and industry contacts. • Represents Heartland for recruiting purposes at networking and industry events, career fairs, and conferences. • Continually reviews hiring targets and sources to ensure personal and team target achievement. • Travel requirement is 50 - 55%, with peak periods requiring travel for multiple weeks in a row. Pay Range USD $80,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
