Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Porter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, providing exceptional service and support throughout their stay. This position requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance area, and other public spaces.
• Provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist with room service deliveries and ensure timely responses to guest requests.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support housekeeping staff by delivering items to rooms or assisting with special requests.
• Monitor the condition of the hotel premises and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for visitors.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest calls and inquiries effectively.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
