As the Housing Navigation and Placement Specialist, you will help individuals and families move from temporary housing shelter situations into permanent rental housing within the Metro jurisdictional boundaries. Applying an Assertive Engagement skills and a trauma-informed approach, you will work to empower participants to maintain permanent, independent housing through acquiring income, promoting physical and emotional health, and building community.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Unless an item or section is labeled required, we consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteering, education, and transferable skills qualifying. Please be clear and specific about how your background is relevant. COMPENSATION: $25.00-$26.75 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience.LOCATION & TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:Most of the work performed by this position can be accomplished in a hybrid/remote work environment, though frequent in-person meetings will be required. There are times that work requires in-person, onsite activities. On-site work is located at EPHC's offices in Gresham, OR.
