Job Overview: HR and Benefits Administrator As our ideal candidate, you're a detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate HR professional with a strong background in benefits administration and HR support. You'll play a critical role in supporting our team across the US and India, ensuring seamless benefits management, and delivering exceptional service to our employees. Key Responsibilities: Driving HR Excellence and Employee Experience Benefits Administration: Manage all aspects of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other company-sponsored programs. Handle enrollments, changes, terminations, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. HR Support: Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, exit interviews, and documentation management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system. Payroll Coordination: Work closely with our payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data related to benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related issues. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Prepare and submit required reports, including EEO-1, ACA, and other compliance-related filings as needed. Employee Support: Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, policy questions, and other HR-related concerns. Provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth employee experience. HRIS Maintenance: Update and maintain our HRIS system with employee information, benefits data, and changes. Generate reports as needed for analysis and decision-making. Policy Implementation: Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. Executive Administrative Support: Work with our executive team on administrative projects as needed, including Board meeting logistics, annual employee meetings, and other special projects. Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field , demonstrating a strong foundation in HR principles and practices. 2-4 years of experience in HR and benefits administration , preferably in a fast-paced environment, showcasing your ability to navigate complex benefits programs and HR systems. A strong understanding of benefits regulations , including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and other relevant laws and regulations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail , with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote work environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service to employees and other stakeholders. The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism , demonstrating a high level of discretion and integrity. Preferred Qualifications: Adding Extra Value While not required, the following qualifications can add extra value to your application: Experience with HRIS systems, such as Workday or BambooHR, and benefits administration platforms. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, FLSA, and ADA. Certifications, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the HR profession.
