About the position The Human Resource Generalist / Payroll Specialist at BlueLion, LLC is a full-time role focused on providing comprehensive HR support to clients, both on-site and remotely. The position involves processing payroll, managing employee benefits, and assisting with various HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and payroll processing, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail. This role requires travel within New England and is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Onsite HR Support for clients in New England (NH, ME, MA, VT) , Processing payroll and ensuring payroll compliance , Assisting with employee benefits administration , Implementing new Payroll/Benefits/HRIS systems , Handling HR-related tasks for remote clients , Reviewing and updating Employee Handbooks , Managing FMLA and Leaves of Absences , Creating HR Policies and Performance Appraisals , Assisting with Employee Relations issues Requirements Minimum 3 years of HR experience , Payroll Processing experience (required) , Benefits Administration experience (required) , Excellent written and verbal communication skills , Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word , Strong research skills , Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail , Willingness to travel within New England (ME, MA, NH, VT) Nice-to-haves Experience in Benefits Administration (preferred) , Ability to adapt to multiple clients and systems , Experience with payroll platforms or HRIS Benefits 401(k) , 401(k) matching , Dental insurance , Flexible schedule , Health insurance , Paid time off , Professional development assistance , Retirement plan , Vision insurance Apply Job!
