Job Title: Hyperion Financial Analyst Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote Experience level: 6 to 8 Years Job Summary: We are looking for a highly analytical Financial Analyst with hands-on experience in Hyperion SmartView and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will use Excel formulas (IF, AND, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.) to manipulate and analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and generate meaningful insights for business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, analyze, and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports using SmartView. Extract and manipulate data from Hyperion / Oracle EPM using SmartView for detailed financial analysis. Build, maintain, and automate Excel-based financial models and dashboards. Use advanced Excel formulas (IF, AND, OR, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.) to analyze complex data sets. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and provide actionable insights. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial reports and analysis. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A. Strong SmartView experience and proficiency in Hyperion Planning / Essbase is a plus. Advanced Excel skills with thorough knowledge of formulas (IF, AND, OR, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
