Imaging Assistant - Part-Time Evening Opportunity

As an Imaging Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties, including assisting with patient care, preparing scan rooms, and supporting our technologists during exams. Key Responsibilities: Assist with patient care, including changing patients, reviewing patient safety questionnaires, and preparing patients for exams Support our technologists during exams, including setting up scan rooms, placing patients on the table, and attaching necessary coils and/or head holders Assist with starting IVs and administering contrast injections Respond to emergency situations, such as contrast reactions and CPRs Verify patient lab values, document patient exam information, and create CDs for patients Participate in patient final verification and assist with supply ordering, stocking, and monitoring Clean and maintain scan rooms and holding rooms, and assist with the transportation of patients to and from the scan room Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required 2 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of patient care experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) preferred What We Offer: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package On-demand pay program, generous paid time off, and flexible scheduling Exceptional health, dental, vision, and prescription drug insurance plans Relocation assistance, retirement savings, and disability insurance Free onsite parking and special discounts on products and services At Corewell Health, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
