Key Responsibilities Provide dog walking services to our clients' furry friends, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being Conduct cat visits and provide vacation pet sitting services, giving our clients peace of mind while they are away Offer private boarding services, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our clients' pets Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and photos of their pets Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client experience Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your pet care skills and knowledge Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Experience in caring for pets, either personally or professionally Ability to walk numerous miles per day and lift 50 lbs in the event a big dog needs your help Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and their pets Dependability, reliability, and a positive attitude, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment Availability during the holiday season, from Thanksgiving and/or Christmas Eve through New Year's Day Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care Certifications in pet first aid or CPR Knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and health Experience working with a variety of animal species, including dogs, cats, and small animals Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and their pets Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues Physical stamina, with the ability to walk numerous miles per day and lift 50 lbs Emotional intelligence, with the ability to understand and respond to the needs of our clients and their pets Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments Career Growth Opportunities At Fetch Pet Care, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
