Role Summary As a General Warehouse Laborer, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, managing raw materials, and ensuring the efficient production and packaging of products. This contract-to-hire position is available for 6 months, with the potential for long-term career growth and development. Key Responsibilities Operate one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, including filling, capping, sealing, labeling, and packaging products Move raw materials to the production line and remove damaged products or supplies as needed Conduct production, package, and flavor changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production processes Perform product inspection processes and basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues Conduct minor repairs to keep production equipment running efficiently Lift, carry, and push/pull cases weighing 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over a long work period Stoop, crawl, and crouch over and under conveyors as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to good housekeeping practices Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations, and expedite repairs to the line in collaboration with maintenance Work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure product inspection processes Physical stamina to lift, carry, and push/pull cases weighing 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over a long work period Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Reliable and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving production goals Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment Knowledge of warehouse management systems and equipment maintenance Certifications or training in a related field, such as OSHA or forklift operation Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Machine operating and troubleshooting skills Warehouse management and general labor experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and push/pull heavy cases Career Growth Opportunities As a General Warehouse Laborer with Workwarp and Aerotek, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and advance your career in a dynamic and growing industry.
