Job Summary
Join our interior design team as an Interior Design Assistant and immerse yourself in the world of creative space transformation! This is a remote position where you’ll collaborate on renovations and new construction projects to develop plans and assist with project tasks. At Mosley Design Studio, our entire team works remotely and enjoys the benefit of flexible hours, weekly video conferencing team meetings, and occasional site visits. We are a people-first design firm that prioritizes building trusting relationships with contractors and customers. We specialize in custom home design, home renovations, and small commercial projects. This position is perfect for passionate students or emerging designers eager to expand their skills. This role provides a comprehensive introduction to interior design processes, from conceptualization to execution, all within a flexible and supportive environment.
Our studio is in Flower Mound, but we currently have active job sites in the surrounding areas such as Roanoke, Bartonville, Southlake, Weatherford, and as far as Eastland.
Duties
• Work from home or remote location
• Support the design team in drawing plans utilizing AutoCAD & Revit to ensure precise project documentation
• Assist in coordination with consultants, contractors, and customers
• Help select finishes, fixtures & hardware and prepare vision boards
• Ability to accurately perform field measurements and verification of existing conditions on renovation projects in the Dallas-Ft Worth area
• Participate in site visits with team members, customers, and contractors to observe ongoing construction or remodeling work
• Research building codes
Experience
• Currently enrolled in an interior design, architecture, or related program; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit
• Basic understanding of drafting techniques, color theory, lighting design principles, and construction processes
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and customers
Requirements
• Must have your own computer and software - Revit required (AutoCAD is a plus)
• Must have your own dependable car to drive to site visits
• Must have your own tape measure and/or laser measure

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
