INTERN - Operations Research Scientist

Responsibility Model Development : Assist in designing, implementing, and testing mathematical models for optimization problems (e.g., linear programming, integer programming, mixed-integer programming, network flow models) Collaborate on creating scalable optimization models for applications like planning, routing, scheduling, inventory management, and capacity utilization. Create heuristic models in addition to mathematical models as per the problem requirements. Data Analysis: Derive insights from data. Validate model inputs and outputs Clean, pre-process and integrate datasets for use in optimization models. Testing & Documentation thoroughly testing your work before deploying and Documenting About you Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematical Modeling or related fields The duration of the internship is 6 months. Experience with optimization modeling and solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, COIN-OR, etc.) Experience with python Proactive self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership of their work and meeting deadlines Willingness to join full-time on successful completion of internship Our Environment AWS hosted infrastructure Linux Python Additional Information If you share our passion for building a sustainable, intelligent, and efficient world, you’re in the right place.
