Position Description & Details Position #: 00105038 # of positions: 1 LOCATION: Grand Forks, Fargo, Bismarck, ND or Remote in ND within proximity of an NDUS institution. TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a part-time/temporary/non-benefited position. CLOSING DATE: Applications received by August 31, 2025, will be given first consideration. NDUS Core Technology Services is offering an exciting data internship opportunity for a student enrolled in any related program, including data science, data analysis, data engineering, data architecture, and information management. Under direction from the NDUS Information and Data Executive Governance (IDEG), you will work with experienced professionals in the field and learn various aspects of data management, analysis, and visualization. You will assist in creating enterprise data standards, collect, cleanse, and analyze data, and develop reports and dashboards to communicate your findings. This internship will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and gain practical skills to boost your resume and enhance your career prospects. You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment where your contributions will be valued and recognized. This position can be located in Grand Forks, Fargo, Bismarck, ND, or work remotely. Minimum Qualifications: • Current student enrolled at an NDUS institution pursuing a degree in a related field. • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to successfully convey ideas and contribute in a team environment • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in data programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI • Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud technologies such as Azure or Power BI Service APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants should apply online at and upload a cover letter specifically addressing the job qualifications, and a current resume.
