Conduct deep financial and commercial due diligence on underperforming and insolvent retail assets. Develop and implement turnaround strategies in collaboration with operational and restructuring teams. Manage key external relationships (advisors, lenders, administrators, etc.). Monitor portfolio performance and drive value creation initiatives post-acquisition. Support the broader team on strategic fundraising, exits, and sector analysis. Requirements: Proven track record in distressed or special situations investing, ideally with exposure to the retail sector. Strong background in private equity, investment banking, restructuring, or a fund environment. Experience in managing complex deal structures, often under tight timelines. Deep understanding of UK and European retail markets. Commercially sharp, analytically rigorous, and confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
