IT Financial Analyst - Entry Level

Responsibilities • Analyze results of studies, reports, and analyses. , • Prepare complex financial analysis projects to summarize current and projected financial information. , • Research and prepare financial reports. , • Manage and review the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly financial analysis. , • Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions. , • Assist in the preparation and submission of budgets and forecasts. , • Establish, modify, document, and implement methods and control procedures. , • Assist other analysts, consultants, and managers with complex analysis. , • Share technical expertise with others and recommend process improvements. , • Provide functional advice or training to less experienced financial analysts. Requirements • Broad knowledge of core Finance principles and basic understanding of the corporate accounting process (forecast, invoicing, chargeback, accruals, etc.), preferably with experience in IT. , • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver output exercising judgment and discretion consistently. , • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field. , • 5+ years' experience in accounting and finance preferred, with some financial management experience required. , • Strong analytical and quantitative data-analysis skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. , • Strong to expert skills in data transformation using MS Excel or Access. , • Ability to work well both independently and in teams. , • Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
