Holland America Line is seeking an experienced IT Planning Analyst to optimize technology processes and drive operational efficiency across multiple IT teams and business units. The role involves providing data-driven insights, monitoring performance metrics, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives to support IT's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in integrating strategic planning roadmaps with annual financial planning activities
- Support in maintaining and updating documentation of financial planning for IT operational and capital expenses
- Assist with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analysis for IT initiatives
- Support tracking of Cost Performance Initiatives to ensure alignment with financial goals
- Collaborate with the IT Planning Manager and IT Leadership to gather updates for strategic plans
- Track deliverables from IT Leadership and stakeholders
- Assist in preparing routine and ad hoc executive and leadership update materials, including summaries and presentations for strategic planning meetings
- Identify and define metrics that align with current IT operational goals
- Track performance data and compile regular status reports for stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data for executive presentations and management reviews
- Design reports tailored to different target audiences
- Provide analytical and data support for business case creation, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment
- Gather and organize financial and operational data to help justify transformational initiatives
- Facilitate, advise, track, and report progress on business cases, TCO/ROI analysis, and post-implementation reviews to mature processes and ensure accountability
- Coordinate interactions between IT teams and/or business partners to facilitate process efficiency
- Facilitate cross-team meetings to align on process requirements and decisions
- Connect teams with subject matter experts and resources needed for process execution
- Follow up on action items from cross-team discussions to ensure completion
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- 1-3 years' experience in a related job area (IT Process Analysis, Financial Planning, Information Technology, or Project Management)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- This is a hybrid position, based in our Seattle office. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (currently Tuesday-Thursday)
