IT Project Manager – HR Technology Portfolio (Coordination & Chief of Staff Focus) Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Month Contract Pay Rate Range: $45 - $60/HR Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support and coordinate the HR technology portfolio within our IT organization. This is not a traditional project running role. Instead, this position functions as a bridge between the IT Technical Team and the HR PMO, ensuring alignment, communication, and smooth execution of technical deliverables across HR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who excels in coordination, stakeholder alignment, and acting as a strategic right hand to leadership—similar to a chief of staff model within the HR technology space. You will partner closely with a business?side Project Manager and ensure that the technical components of HR projects are delivered effectively, on time, and with clear visibility to leadership Qualifications: • 7+ years of project management or project coordination experience, ideally within IT and HR technology environments. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across diverse technical and business teams. • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Oracle HCM) and general IT infrastructure concepts. • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) and Microsoft collaboration platforms. • Comfort presenting to senior leadership and navigating complex, multi-team environments. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at problem-solving. • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment and serve as a connector between teams.
