IT Technician (Entry Level)

College Blvd. Roswell, NM 88201 Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level IT Technician to join our team at a Managed Service Provider (MSP). In this role, you will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting IT systems for multiple clients. You will work with hardware, software, and networks to ensure smooth operations and provide technical support to end users. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for clients. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers, networks, and peripherals. • Assist in setting up and managing LAN/WAN networks and cloud-based systems. • Provide remote and on-site support to clients. • Perform system updates, patches, and security configurations. • Document technical procedures, solutions, and client interactions. • Collaborate with senior technicians to implement IT solutions. • Educate clients on best practices for cybersecurity and IT usage. Qualifications: • Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT troubleshooting. • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems. • Knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, etc.). • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation (preferred but not required).
