As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:- Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, assist them with selecting merchandise, complete transactions accurately, and answer questions about our products and services.
- Maintaining a Clean and Well-Stocked Store: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Stocking Shelves and Recovering Merchandise: Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that our products are always available and easily accessible to our customers.
- Handling Customer Funds and Processing Transactions: Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using our point-of-sale system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensuring a Safe and Secure Shopping Environment: Remain constantly aware of customer activity, ensuring that our store remains a safe and secure shopping environment for all customers.
- Performing Other Duties as Assigned: Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including assisting with visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and participating in inventory management.
Position Requirements
To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. You should be able to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
- Experience: Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: You'll need to be able to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height. You'll also need to be able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Availability: You'll need to be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
