Job Overview:
Amazon Flex is seeking independent contractors to deliver packages to customers in Roanoke, VA. As a Delivery Driver, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and earn a competitive hourly rate of up to $25/hour. Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up packages from delivery stations and deliver them to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with dispatch to confirm pickup and delivery locations
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any delivery issues that may arise
- Follow all safety guidelines set by Amazon and the US Department of Transportation
- Operate a vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Amazon policies
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Have a 4-door vehicle (car, truck, van) or motorcycle over 250cc (mid-size)
- Valid US driver's license or equivalent from another country
- Clean background check and driving record
- Have an iPhone or Android smartphone
