This company has experienced significant growth in the last five years and is looking for a fully remote staff accountant to join their team. Job Description • As the Staff Accountant-Fully Remote you will lead and participate in the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. • You will manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records. • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. • Contribute to financial analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights for decision-making. • Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit processes. • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulations, and company policies. The Successful Applicant • As the Staff Accountant-Fully remote you will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. • Proven experience in month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries. • Understanding of AP and AR processes. • Work and reconcile within the GL. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • This role is fully remote and they are happy to look at candidates residing in any part of the United State.
