To learn more, visit: construction.com About the Role: Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, FP&A, we are searching for a Junior Finance Analyst, FP&A who will play a pivotal role in establishing best-in-class budgeting & forecasting processes and systems via partnering with other members of the Finance team and leaders across the Research & Development and Support/Services functions. This fast-paced role provides an outstanding opportunity to build partnerships within the business to drive informed planning and decision-making and to own business-critical processes that will scale with the companys growth. This is a remote opportunity. What youll do: Be the primary line of financial planning and analysis support to the Chief Technology Officer and other leaders within the R&D function Guide R&D org in the development and understanding of KPIs (R&D spend, tickets, capacity, productivity) Establish new financial modeling and reporting capabilities to guide R&D leadership Support implementation of CPM platform, Vena (planning and reporting system) to streamline future budget and forecast iterations Support annual budget process as the Finance org implements Vena for planning & reporting and identify opportunities for improvement Track and forecast capitalized R&D expenditures Maintain recurring, rolling forecasts to support decision-making with the latest data available Provide executive-facing performance commentary within recurring reporting deliverables Support R&D, Support & Services functions in the production of monthly board presentation materials Partner with Accounting organization on a stream-lined month-end close through detailed P&L reviews and creation of accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting Establish partnerships and processes with budget owners and Human Resources to accurately plan for the businesss personnel needs Assist in creating dynamic reporting packages and/or dashboards for business review meetings which provide visibility into performance and business drivers Assist with ad hoc projects to support business decisions What youll bring: Bachelors in Finance or Accounting (CPA, CMA a plus) 2 years of experience in an FP&A or SaaS-Finance capacity High proficiency in working with Excel and building scalable financial models (e.g., large data sources, vlookups, pivot tables, index, Sum product, VBA is a plus) Deep understanding of relational databases and data ETL (extract, transform, load) processes Experience working with enterprise CPM platforms (e.g., Vena, Adaptive Insights, Planful) Experience working in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Experience in financial statement consolidation within a multi-currency organization Proactive, self-starter, who works well autonomously and in a team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare, present, and communicate financial data in a concise and actionable manner Strong growth mentality to seek out continuous improvement and development opportunities Ability to drive multiple projects/deliverables to completion by established deadlines As a federal contractor and sub-contractor, Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is required to comply with Executive Order # 14042.
