HeyDelegate is hiring on behalf of one of our partners in the advertising and branded merchandise industry.
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Web Designer & Front-End Developer to join a growing remote team supporting international brands and creative campaigns.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, a good understanding of front-end development, and an interest in building clean, modern, and user-friendly web experiences.
Responsibilities
Design and build responsive websites and landing pages
Customize and maintain websites across platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Kajabi, and similar builders
Translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing web pages
Ensure websites align with client branding and style guidelines
Support updates, edits, and ongoing website improvements
Collaborate with creative and marketing teams on digital projects
Troubleshoot minor website and front-end issues as needed
Requirements
3+ years of experience in web design and/or front-end development
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
Experience working with website builders and CMS platforms
Good design sense and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong communication and time management skills
Willingness to learn new tools and platforms quickly
Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify customization
Familiarity with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
Basic SEO knowledge
Portfolio showcasing previous web design or development work

Working hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST (3 p.m. – 12 a.m. EAT)
Net salary: KES 80,000 per month
