Jurisdictional Consultant II

We are seeking a Jurisdictional Consultant II to conduct in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels in California, with a focus on the San Joaquin Valley. The ideal candidate will have experience in the pressure equipment industry and possess a valid driver's license. Requirements Experience in the Pressure Equipment Industry in one or more of the following: Engineering or Design Review, Manufacturing or boiler and pressure vessel construction, Operation of a Steam Plant 50,000 pounds per hour, Repairs, Alteration or Maintenance of boilers or pressure vessels, Inspection of Boilers or Pressure Vessels, NDE Examiner of Boilers or Pressure Vessels Microsoft Office applications experience Associate degree from a 2-year technical/vocational school/ or engineering college, or, a high school diploma (GED is acceptable), with a technical working knowledge of boiler and machinery equipment obtained through work experiences National Board In-Service Commission (IS) and/or state commissions within State of California Bachelor of Science in Engineering with emphasis in Mechanical Engineering National Board Efficient time management, problem solving, and computer skills Benefits Remote work option Excellent organization skills Strong ability to thoroughly explain loss prevention recommendations to a client Strong organizational, communication, listening and interpersonal skills Originally posted on Himalayas
