Job Title: Kafka Subject Matter Expert (SME) Endur Integration Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months Key Responsibilities Serve as the Kafka SME, providing design, implementation, and optimization expertise. Develop and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and stream processing pipelines. Drive seamless integration with Endur , ensuring reliability and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver business-critical solutions. Provide best practices, documentation, and knowledge transfer for Kafka implementations. Support performance tuning, monitoring, and scalability improvements. Must-Have Skills 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or integration projects. Proven expertise as a Kafka SME (deep knowledge of producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and stream processing). Direct, hands-on experience integrating Apache Kafka with Endur . Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python with Kafka implementations. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and monitoring platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Relevant certifications in Kafka, Cloud, or related technologies. Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
