Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food preparation and cleanliness standards are met. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including stocking supplies and managing inventory.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
